UX Researcher / UX Consultant / UX Archtect
Senior UX Researcher / UX Architect. I help teams ship clearer, safer, faster user journeys in complex and regulated products—combining research, information architecture, and rapid prototyping. With an MSc in Ergonomics & Human Factors, I turn behaviour and evidence into practical design decisions that reduce risk and improve usability.
Clients include: TfL, Scottish Parliament, Visa, RNLI, Colgate, Microsoft and the BBC.
Areas I work in
I operate across the full product lifecycle — shaping ideas from early discovery and research through to UX strategy, product architecture, interaction design, and the integration of emerging AI-driven workflows.
Usability & conversion
Most of my work involves understanding where and why users struggle — whether that's a complex flow, an unclear journey, or a step that quietly loses people before they complete what they came to do.
UX architecture & workflows
A lot of the systems I've worked on are genuinely complex — multi-actor, multi-step, high stakes. I enjoy the structural work of making those systems navigable and coherent.
Research & validation
I plan and run research throughout the product lifecycle — from early discovery through to live service evaluation. The goal is always to give teams something concrete to act on.
Design & prototyping
Research on its own isn't enough — I translate findings into wireframes, flows and prototypes that teams can test, iterate and hand off to build.
AI workflow UX
Increasingly I'm interested in how AI fits into real working contexts — where the handoffs are, how much users trust the system, and where oversight and clarity break down.
